My love affair with GSPs started when I was about 12 and was introduced to two of them.  I knew then that I had to have a Shorthair,  but it wasn't until the early 60's that I was able to satisfy my longing to have one.  

One soon became two.  And then there were three.  And the next step was to go all out, buy the best bitch I could find so I could breed some really good ones.

Cedarpark Kennels was born!  And we did breed some good ones, even one great one, and my daughters (known in dog show circles as The Pointer Sisters) and I had a lot of fun along the way.

The dogs were very much a "family thing" for the girls and me.  We made some good friends, had some great times, the memories will last.
